I was born with a love for roadtrips and getting off the beaten path, and I have always had a love for the vehicles getting me out there and back.

I also love to build stuff. With my cars, I’ve always been adding things, changing things, trying to make it my own. One thing has always stumped me—what about the stupid license plate? This thing is slapped on the front and the back, and the dealer put a chrome thing on it, and it has always just been bugging me.

I finally had enough. I know my way around modeling software, so I drew up the license plate holder I would want. Something utilitarian like the tools I like. Something tough like the cars I like. Something thought through. And that’s what I hope we’ve made.
